Boxer's Last Stand

Boxing is a common combat sport where two individuals, generally wearing boxing gloves and various other protective gear like mouth guards and handwraps, continuously throw punches at each other inside a boxing ring for a set amount of time. This sport has grown in popularity not only in the US but also all over the world. With the increase in demand for the sport, many organizations have come up to offer boxing classes. In order to become a champion boxer, one would require training not only in boxing techniques but also in sportsmanship.

There are several rules and regulations that govern the fights inside the boxing arenas. One of the most significant rules is that boxers should wear protective head gears such as boxing helmets. Boxers who throw punches at each other will damage their eyes; hence they need to use suitable protective gears. To prevent injury to their eyes, boxers should use cotton balls to throw in front of their nose. The cotton ball will protect the nose from being hit.

A second important aspect in boxing is footwork. A typical boxer will make use of various foot movements and techniques in order to strike the opponent. These foot movements and techniques depend on several factors like the strength of the boxer, the flexibility and agility of the fighter and the strategy used by the boxer in striking the opponent. There are three main boxing styles: the slugger, the low-level fighter and the high-level fighter. Each of these three boxing styles has its own unique style of throwing a punch.

A basic strategy used by boxers is to engage in a slugging match, where in one fighter will try to throw punches on the other while the other player will try to throw punches back. A common strategy in this fight is to engage in a defensive technique. For instance, if the boxer who is being tagged by punches will try to get out of the way, his opponent can engage in a counter-strike and thus will be prevented from being tagged. In order to successfully defend against a direct strike, the boxer using the defensive technique will have to tie his opponent up with his legs and then he will have to come up with a counter strike.

On the other hand, high-level or pro boxers often engage in a one-on-one battle where the objective is to knock out the opponent by employing a single punch. When this happens, there are two possible positions that the slugger can take: either he can face his opponent and trade punches or he can employ a submission hold. It should be noted that for professional sluggers, this position means that he is not going to be able to run up and take punches from his opponent. มวย วัน อาทิตย์ นี้

For the second position, where the boxer on top has taken a few shots and wants to attempt a reversal setup, the best defense is to tie him up and then employ the cross side sleeper. When the boxer who is on bottom tries to turn his opponent, the sleeper will pull guard and apply a triangle. With this hold, he can attempt to turn his opponent again by moving his head side to side and then putting leverage on his opponent's nose. The sleeper is also capable of applying a rear naked choke or a rear triangle. Whichever position prevails, once the fight switches to a rear naked choke, it is usually over because the boxer on the bottom has been unable to control his opponent and is on his last stand.
