Direct admission in engineering college is also possible, but this is limited to fewer colleges. Some colleges reserve few seats for the students coming in anytime of the year and for students from other states. For this facility you have to pay extra money called capitation fees along with normal tuition fees and other charges. You can enquire from the colleges that give such facilities to students. This does not mean you will be given a redemption for not taking the studies seriously. Admission is obtained by paying extra money, but you have to prove your potential in the semester tests. No one will bother whether you have paid extra and got a seat.

Direct admission in engineering college gives you same status in the college of study. No one will ever know how you got the admission as confidentiality is maintained. You have to study seriously for the normal tests conducted in the colleges. You will be assessed like the other students getting admission through the normal selection procedure. For direct admission, you need not sit for group discussions or give an interview, but the head of the institution will like to have a short encouraging chat with you. You must take the chat smartly and show your urge for studying the engineering subjects with dedication.
