Colloidal Silver's Anti-Microbial Properties

Posted by MichealH Alexander on February 4th, 2021

The silver nano particles in our colloidal silver concentrate 10,000ppm have strong antimicrobial effects against bacteria, viruses, and fungi. The antimicrobial effect of silver particles depend on different parameters including size, shape, and the surface charge of the particles. In this respect, smaller particles are found to have greater antimicrobial activity since they provide a greater surface area. Best Colloidal Silver ppm

Some studies have shown that silver particles smaller than 10nm can easily penetrate the cellular wall of the microbes and affect its cellular content. It damages the microbes’ DNA, leading to cellular death. On the other hand, particles larger than 10nm, accumulate on the cell surfaces. This will compromise cellular permeability and block cellular respiration, leading to cellular death.

In a research report from the Journal of Nanomaterial, the researchers found that positively charged silver particles showed the highest level of effectiveness against the organisms tested. Negatively charged silver particles had the least effectiveness while neutral particles has intermediary effects. This proves that for a silver particle to be effective against microbes, it needs to be positively charged. Colloidal Silver for Covid

The silver particles in our colloidal silver concentrate 10000ppm has a very strong positive charge making it highly effective.
