Fresh selection - yes, but not something to write home about. A nice place and would say it is average at best. Wide range on drinks and some prepared foods available. One great thing is the bright personality of the crews, they add spirit to the place. I found them to be very patient as I was not in the mood look through every section for what I needed and actually, I was impressed with their focus on customers as well.

My boyfriend and I do our grocery shopping at Trader Joe's every weekend (usually the one, by USC. That one is usually super crowded with students ). This TJ's is clean, less crowded, which is nice!

This place is great! It can get busy every once in a while but, if you go early on the weekend you won't have any sort of rush. The premade meals are always great for lunch or dinner.

One of my favorite locations. They have a great system for wiping down baskets/carts, controlling the flow of customers so it doesn't get too crowded, and enforcing social distancing without causing frustration for customers (AKA they won't chase you down for going down an aisle the opposite way from the directions that they tape in arrows on the floor). Instead they just keep a lesser number of customers in the store, while also updating everyone in the line periodically.

Service 100%! I will totaly go out of my way to come to this one merely for the service. There is a young man at this one who is absolutely what makes trader joes faborable. He embodies what everyone wants in an employee and human. Just a kind young man. I wish I could remember his name... I want to say Jake.. But I'm not certain..

I used to love you. Then you changed your hours to open at 9am instead of 8am... guess I won't be seeing you again as I am already at work by then. Seems a bit weird.

Instead of steadily managing the inflow and outflow of customers, this location does a very odd thing where they let too many people in, realize they're at capacity, then just close their doors for 15-20 minutes. The tape outside is faint and confusing. Nobody stands at the door so you just feel totally alone and frustrated. It's... not great.

Went to this Trader Joe's in search for some good wine! An employee came over to me right away and asked if I needed help or any suggestions. I took him up on his offer and I was not disappointed! He gave me very detailed and intelligent descriptions of the wines I was interested in as well as suggesting some I may not of picked up! Unfortunately I didn't catch his name but all of the employees were incredibly nice & helpful! I also can say that TJs has some of the best priced bottles around me. I was able to try three new wines for under . Parking was very easy as there is a parking garage attached and you get the first hour free! The entire store was very clean and organized well. This will now be my regular grocery store!

I've been to every single Trader Joe's in LA (not an exaggeration) and this is the best one by far. Clean, not very crowded, friendly staff, and always stocked on everything I need. Free one hour parking in the Avalon parking lot underground.

The customer service is inconsistent here, the employees who've been at this location are great. I've noticed some newer employees are icy. I don't know what's going on at this location but it's going down hill. Also, please figure out what you're doing with the check out lines. Especially express check out. I come in the store in a great mood, then leave super frustrated.

Did not let me return or refund unopened product that tastes bad. Employee was not helpful regarding this.

They are transphobic. In March 2020, I was refused entry because the head cashier or assistant managers did not approve of my wardrobe selection. I was wearing leggings and a tank top. Just now, I was refused service with my roommate because a cashier allegedly did not approve of us using our own granny cart. Everywhere we go, we use our granny cart, including this store. She demanded we take our products out of our cart and put them in a TJ cart for us to be checked out. We were being harassed, I believe because I am transgender, and all of the other store employees stood by and watched. Nobody helped us. We left and we are never going back. If you are trans, you will be harassed.

Came to Tjs for a few items. Located next to USC, it is very clean and organized. Workers were very friendly and well informed. Parking is easy in the lot. I'd come back again.

Will G was a great cashier! He was very friendly and courteous. The whole store does a great job of being fast and helpful during this time.
