The staff is friendly and professional. However they do not have enough workers. There is often only one teller on duty and it is a long waiter (15 minutes is not unusual). Another plus for this branch is the easy parking.

Although we have a business account and we use the merchant line; it'll take me a minimum of 15-20 minutes on a good day just to make a deposit. The teller handling the business line is the slowest teller with an attitude.

There's not a lot of companies in San Francisco that passively inflict pain and displeasure on their customers. But there are three that come to mind: DMV, Ross at Union Square, and the Bank of America on Market and Van Ness. The tellers who work here are wonderful - friendly and accommodating. The problem is there isn't enough of them. At any given time, there are only two tellers working and when you report this issue to customer service agents greeting customers, their reply is usually an apology and "the other teller is out of the lunch." Just look at the pictures that other customers have submitted...10, 20, 30 waiting in line! Please do better.

Why do they feel it necessary to shut down all three ATMs at the same time.? Very inconvenient waste of my time. Take them iffGoogle maps till you finish remodel.

Sorry, but stopping by after work around 4:30pm I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes. There were 2 employees helping out, but all of a sudden one of the employees decides to start walking around and doing stuff in the back. Excuse me, but there is a line of about 5 people and we are not moving. I don't think there is something that important to tend to in the back (I can see her doing nothing) that you can help move the line along. Pretty frustrating, but most BofA's are like this. Always a long line and no workers.

Always a long line, about 10-15 minute wait. I'm giving this a 2 star rating because the staff is nice but it takes forever to see them. I wish the lines moved faster but it seems like half the cash registers are unmanned.

This is the worst branch ever! Not enough cashiers. Lines are way too long!!!One teller out of 10 windows is a joke

well if you like to wait in line to give money to one of the most greedy banks in America come here. the interior is dismal, beige everything. no lobby music, no character, no soul. not the slightest effort to decorate. even the tellers are underpaid. chase is a small improvement; at least they have a facade, where clearly BofA does not give a shit about anything.

I really hate B of A. Why do all car loans get sold to them? For the second time I am in bed with B of A for the next 5 years. I don't know how they can't figure out to electronically debit my payment. With my prior car, it was no problem and worry free. This time I have not only sent them voided checks, but I personally went into the branch and had them fax the form to the right division, and still after 6 months of getting my car, I continue to have to take the payment to the bank each month.

I went to the atm and it kept my card talking bout security reasons. So I had to go inside and they gave me card. But what a hassle to wait inline when never was my plan. Imagine if it was a weekend and the inside was closed I would of been stuck... never again be careful

This branch is a cesspool. The customer service standards were set by the Trump administration. They're about as good as Trumpcare. Two completely overwhelmed young tellers cowering behind the bullet proof glass, with a line of impatient, frustrated customers to the door. After waiting 15 minutes to get laundry quarters, I'm informed this particular branch does not have quarters, per the manager, who is there, on site, but somehow indisposed and unable to help address the line. Indisposed behind his desk with a box of tissue, I suspect. That's why he had the teller relay to me over the phone that I'd have to wait another 5 to 10 minutes for him to come out of hiding to assist in digging up some quarters. He had to finish up.

Got there at 11:25 after finding out that my normal branch is closed for renovation. Entered to find out they are only serving business customers till noon, and can I please wait 35 minutes. I needed a high 4-figure money order to sign a new lease. Nope, sorry. YOU GUYS SUCK.

It's always the same when I come inside, which thankfully is not often. Curt, unhappy tellers. I need to find someplace else to do my banking.

Several years ago we opened savings accounts for our children. When we went back recently to make a deposit, the money was all gone. We were told that the account had been closed due to inactivity and the money sent to the state. (It isn't in the unclaimed funds database, btw). All this, without any notification or a phone call? This is the worst possible neighborhood banking experience.
