Juventus Win Second League Title In Record Time

The Turin giants, Juve have enjoyed much success in the Italian top flight, winning the last four titles. Last season's runners-up, Inter Milan, also impressed many when they qualified for the Champions League but slipped to third in the table after ทํา นาย ผล บอล วัน นี้ a poor start to the season. Juve are arguably the strongest team in Italy having spent the last few years developing their team and their famed attacking football. In recent times they have acquired goalkeeper Matic, who is an extremely promising goalkeeper and has impressed many since he moved from AC Milan. The arrival of Zinedine Zidane from Chelsea has certainly helped with the forward element of the team and with Mario Mandzukic, a fine striker, now permanently signed from Internazionale, expected to become a first choice right back, it looks like Juve may well stay up in the top two of the Italian premiership for some time to come.

Juve's form has been somewhat patchy lately and they dropped three in their opening five matches, against lowly strugglers Genoa, AC Perrin and then Real Madrid. However, they showed great resolve to win each of these games and have now comfortably established themselves as title holders. (CNN)

The Turin giants have made big improvements this season and many would have Juve fans believing that the season-bookmakers are definitely favouring the Piedmont club. Last season Juve were bottom of the table and missed out on a place in the Champions League after failing to win any of their first six matches. Since then, however, the Biancocelato have won seven matches in all competitions and have only dropped points against leaders Inter Milan. This improvement has given Juve the confidence needed to perform in the season-bookmakers' rankings. Indeed, Juve have risen to the top of the listings in the recent free-falling poll. So much for realism, but is this enough to secure second place in the champions league?

In terms of pure footballing ability, Juve have a number of quality players, with star striker Mario Balotelli arguably the best player in Europe right now. However, I've also need a few players to step up their game and play like their Italian counterparts, notably defender Leonardo Bonetti and midfielder James van der Vaart. defenders such as Bonetti and Van der Vaart are two of the best I've have impressed the coaching staff at Turin ever since the duo joined from Genoa last summer. Indeed, I've paid huge money to bring them to Turin and they have done remarkably well, despite some off field troubles. However, with both players injured, it may take them another season or two before they can challenge for second place in the Juve jersey.

With such potential for success, Juve cannot afford to be flippant with their preparations for the coming season. Unlike several other Italian sides who are struggling financially and still manage to compete, Juve continue to invest heavily in the football department. As such, on Wednesday they confirmed the signing of defender Cristiano Ronaldo, who has long been seen as one of the best defenders in the world and a top player in his position.

On a more serious note, I've also confirmed that defender Elia Viviano, who recently featured for Italy during the friendlies against England and Brazil, tested positive for the banned substance stanozol. Viviano has previously been linked with Juve's rivals, Inter and AC Milan, but has not made any regular appearances for the first team, which is always problematic given the high quality of players that Juve have in their squad. So although Juve are without their two best centre backs, David Beckham and Michael Carrizo, they have added a new centre forward to their ranks, which will hopefully benefit Juve in the coming months and years. Only time will tell if Cristiano Ronaldo will help lift Juve to the top.
