Solution of operation timed out when connecting AWS EC2

when SSH connects to AWS EC2, it prompts: SSH: connect with host amazonaws. com port 22: Operation timed Out the state solution will be here: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/TroubleshootingInstancesConnecting.html#TroubleshootingInstancesConnectionTimeout My reason is that the security group just isn't create precisely. The first solution with this solution. 1 . open the management console https://console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/. 2. Find the instance on the left, and then find the problematic instance on the right. 3. You will see several tabs below. Find the description. In the upper right area of the description, there is a "security group: default. View rules". Click Default 4. In the page that appears, select a security group to see the inbound rules in the tab below. I do not have 22 ports here, therefore i can't connect. Click "Edit", select "add rule" 5, type "SSH", protocol TCP, port 22, source any place in the pop-up window. Obviously, if you have a fixed IP ADDRESS, you can select "my IP" 6, submit 7, try reconnecting in SSH. baidu aws certification
