Breeding occurs during the summer and spring season. They lay a number of eggs to ensure its survival. Male lizards fight for their territories. They do this by performing pushups until one of them gets tired and gives up.

Feeding is not a problem as they can eat commercially available crickets. The only issue is that you will have to provide UVB lighting. This enables the reptile to utilize vitamin D.
