Have your pet vaccinated early on.

Supervise your pet while outside.

Most house pets contract rabies when they’re bitten by a rabid animal outdoors. That’s why it’s imperative you keep a close eye on your pet on walks. Never let them roam away from you unsupervised. It’s a recipe for disaster!

Spay or neuter your pet.

Having your pet spayed or neutered reduces the likelihood they’ll roam in order to find a mate. It’s another good way to keep them safe and sound, and the procedure offers plenty of health benefits, too.
