No, Chris Pratt Didn't Voice This World Of Warcraft CharacterPosted by esogoldforsale on January 5th, 2015 There's a rumor going around that Guardians of the Galaxy and Parks and Recreation star Chris Pratt voiced a character in the latest World of Warcraft Gold expansion. Unfortunately, it's not true. The IMDB page for World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor lists Chris Pratt as the voice actor for Leeroy Jenkins. Jenkins originated in a player video from the early days of WoW. In that video, a group of players are carefully planning how to defeat an encounter in Upper Blackrock Spire. Before they can finish their strategy, though, Leeroy shouts his now-legendary battlecry and charges in. The video got Blizzard's attention and led them to create several tributes to Leeroy Jenkins. He was a character in World of Warcraft: The Trading Card Game as well as Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. World of Warcraft players could also earn an Achievement called "Leeeeeeeeeeeeeroy!" in Upper Blackrock Spire. It seemed like only a matter of time before he actually appeared in WoW as well.http://youtu.be/LkCNJRfSZBU Blizzard officially added Jenkins to the game in Warlords of Draenor. Players can find him in the level 100 remake of Upper Blackrock Spire in the room where he died in that original video. He still hasn't completely learned his lesson, though. Minutes after players resurrect him, he'll blindly charge through the dungeon. If players can clear out all of the enemies in the middle section of the dungeon before he charges, they can recruit him for their garrison. It seems plausible that Blizzard would enlist a high-profile comedic actor to voice Jenkins for his long-awaited debut in the game. Some WoW players were convinced that Jenkins' voiceover sounds like Pratt, too: I'm not so sure that it sounds like Pratt. I'm willing to admit that it doesn't not sound like him but that doesn't mean much. Still, the lack of firm proof against the rumor, coupled with the IMDB listing, made it somewhat believable for some. This isn't the first time that IMDB cast listings have led people astray. The cast listings on Batman: Arkham Knight led to all sorts of characters being mistakenly "confirmed" for the game.
