How many types of trolleys are there?

There are different types of trolleys available which have its own specification and uses. The commonly found trolley include Platform trolleys, Hand trolleys, Wheel trolleys, Folding trolleys, Collapsible trolleys, Tool trolleys, Box dollies, and many more.

Platform Trolleys: These are heavy-duty trolleys used to transport materials. It is perfect for a warehouse that needs a vehicle to transport items from place to place. Order Picking Trolleys: This heavy duty trolleys come with a steel ladder affixed to the side and are used to hold any items in the warehouse.

Upright Dolly: This device comes with large wheels that can easily roll and can move everything from a stack of boxes to large pieces of furniture quickly and safely.

Specialty Carts: These are set atop strong wheels to easily stack and move large items.

Hospital Trolley

There is a wide range of trolleys used in hospitals– from patient recovery trolleys to small trolleys for storing medical files.

Dispensing trolleys: These are used by doctors and nurses for easy access to medical tools wherever they are required.

Hospital trolley beds: This is one of the most important trolleys used for comfortably taking patients to and from the surgery room.

Collection and storage trolleys: The purpose of this trolley is to transport heavy pieces of medical equipment or temporary storage of supplies.

Bin trolleys: Hospitals generate a lot of waste that must be safely discarded. This trolley is used for the safe disposal of medical sharps such as syringes.
