, who are contented with their lives, and who know what they want to achieve in life.

People who read non-fiction learn from the stories, lives, ambitions, and aspirations of the characters. They are exposed to a different world revolving around people living entirely different lives and facing scenarios that they may never have encountered before. They develop a creative thought-process, great analytical skills that enhance their capabilities and make them able to perceive things from different aspects.

Non-fiction stories are true to real life. They center around the harsh realities, adverse circumstances, tough decisions while also depicting the positive, blissful, adventurous side of life. And so, the characters portrayed are easy to relate to. All humans share the same kind of feelings and sentiments. Either it’s love, compassion, ecstasy, joy, infatuation, or pride, greed, lust, mischief; every human being encounters such emotions at some point in their lives. And hence, when you read such storylines and plots, you learn of the many moral lessons that you can easily comprehend as right and wrong. The recently published book “Her Brother’s Keeper” by Hollie Tutrani is a mystery thriller, entailing a story of love, loss, relationship complexities after marriage, and how greed and lust can prove to be disastrous for yourself and also for the people around you.

Pick up a book that will make you derive valuable lessons from it. Most people only read when they have some time to spare, whereas it should be the other way round. One must not give up reading because of a “lack of time.” There’s always time to read at least a couple of chapters every day.

No matter what your schedule is, take time out for reading, and stay inquisitive and open to learning new thoughts and ideas that’ll make you contemplate and meditate over many things.
