National Visa

People who are studying, working or permanently residing in any country belonging to the Schengen Area are granted a national visa. A National Visa allows them complete access to the entire Schengen area for the duration of their stay.

Anyone who wishes to apply for a Schengen Visa can do so at any local consulate or embassy of the country which is a part of the Schengen Area. However, it is advisable to visit the consulate or embassy of the country where the maximum period of stay will be.
