What Percentage of NFL Quarterbacks are African American?

I think that this is generally accepted in the scientific community, and this is the mindset that we’re trying to aim for in civilized society.

You may agree or disagree, but for the sake of my argument, I’m going to assume that.Whites are not weaker, slower, or less aggressive than blacks, and blacks are not any less smart or creative than whites.

The only differences are ancestral and historic disadvantages that have given one race more access to better education and wealth than another.

This explains the basketball court vs. sandlot theory. Where poor blacks would excel at basketball because poor areas have tons of basketball courts, and basketballs are cheap. While it takes a lot of expensive equipment to practice baseball.

You may ask how this applies to football, as it is very black. Well, middle school and high school programs offer football for free to kids to play. And many white parents don’t want their kids to get hurt. While black parents love their kids just as much as white parents, they may see the need for some kind of structure and discipline in their kid's lives, and they see it as a way out of poverty. Most white kids will never face poverty and have other options to make it rich other than professional sports.

The proof of this: star athletes in this country used to be heavily Jewish many, many, many years ago. The joke now is that Jews never play sports (like in Airplane with the “light pamphlet of Jewish sports stars”), but that’s because, in the past few generations, Jewish families have stressed academics and professional careers. But when they were blue-collar and did not have access to the schooling that they have now, many became athletes.

Tying this into quarterbacking. Many professional NFL players played quarterback at lower levels of football. They were the undisputed best player on their team and the city, so the coaches made the best use out of them. Then when they got to the level where the team needed a true passer, they’d take up an athletic position, like HB, WR, CB, TE, etc. (although they were probably already playing two-way). But occasionally, that player would never make the switch, because they were so athletic, and a pretty good passer. Like Vick, RGIII, Cam Newton, Vince Young, etc.

But those are the exceptions, not the rules. Playing the QB position traditionally at the D1 or NFL level requires you to drop back, pick apart defenses, make tough passes, call audibles, and run the offense. Running an option offense and using your athleticism is painfully easy, but it doesn’t train you to play the position. You’ll put up great stats and win some games, but your career will be short.

To be a drop-back passer with a 15-year career, do you need a huge white brain? NO!! You need a large human brain, with specific coaching and grooming from a young age. You need wealthy parents who will pay private coaches to work with you, and you need to convince the head coach (maybe even move if you need to) to let you drop back and play quarterback, and not just run you out of the option.

These days, many star QB’s are not just white and wealthy, but they also are coach’s sons or NFL QB’s sons. They had direct tutoring from day #1.

Another phenomenon that’s happening is that the NFL and NBA are staying black, but it's getting “gentrified.” It's remaining a fixture in black culture. But the opportunities are going to the kids of rich black parents more than they used to. The parents can get them great coaching earlier on, get them on the best travel teams, and have them work on their game from an early age. This is a different topic, so I won’t get into it, but people should remember in sports that no one race is inherently more physically able or smarter. It's just about the socioeconomic and psychology behind it. Calling blacks inherently stronger and faster may sound like a compliment, but it actually has racist origins.
