We've entered several baby contests with very dramatic winning minutes, and those events always end up being the best narrative. You see, the judges do not like to find babies crying. It makes them seem weak, and it doesn't help the judges determine who the best infant is. So the more you showboat and behave as a winner, the judges will take you much more seriously.
