Zynga is the perfect example of a company that rose from the ashes. From 2008 to 2011, Zynga was experiencing an all-time high because of its signature game Farmville. Come 2013, just after it began making the company public, Zynga then began experiencing some extreme losses.
Thankfully, because of some recent ventures and collaborations, the mobile gaming giant was able to bounce back. Right now, Zynga is once again taking the world by storm through their latest release. Zynga’s latest game, High Heels, is so successful right now that it breezed through major applications like Youtube and Zoom.
High Heels’ popularity was spurred by the social media; Tiktok to be exact. High Heels’ popularity began when Tiktok user isaiahbaca posted a video with the caption, “She popped off !! #fyp #VisionBoard #CleanTok #highheels”. The video, which is narrated by a voice generator, has the general theme of following the positive reinforcement culture of a “boss woman” and in the case of High Heels, is a culture of “baddies” that play the game. The video by isaiahbaca now has more than four million views, 25 thousand comments, and 15 thousand shares.
The first time you will play High Heels, it will be painfully obvious why the game is so popular right now. Despite being super popular, High Heels is actually a pretty simple game. It is an action game that uses the concept of running platforms. High Heels have obstacles in the platform and players will have to get past these. In order to get through the obstacles, the character must have super high heels. Clearing an obstacle will usually result in your heels being knocked down. You would know when a level is about to end when you can see stairs with multipliers on the left side. If by the end of the level you have really high heels, then you will be able to get to the highest part of the stairs which consequently has the most point multipler. Apart from feeling like an absolute badass in heels, you will also be cheered on by a couple of your adoring fans at the end of each level.

High Heels PC , a game that is not that unique in terms of concept, you would probably ask why the heck it got so popular. There is only one answer to that question: memes. It is already painfully obvious that High Heels operates under the hilarity and ridiculousness of the game. What makes it really stand out is its effective usage of trendy memes, especially the craze about using encouragement on women who are in a state of authority. High Heels often uses a lot of meme terms like “Queen” and “Badass” to really increase its relevance right now. Not only is the actual gameplay and social media content hilarious, players also have the opportunity to change their characters in really funny ways by adding equally funny cosmetics. Anyone will be delighted in this kind of addition.
High Heels is the epitome of simple yet effective marketing using trends and things that are “in”. Despite High Heels’ appeal not looking like it will last very long, it is still undeniably enjoyable nevertheless.
