Global Indian International School Bangalore offers the prestigious Global Citizen Scholarship (GCS) to distinguished students. This scholarship aims to be an enabler or a stepping stone in the meritorious students' future growth.

The scholarship helps fund the entire cost of education, living, and boarding expenses at the GSF campus for two years. The scholarship is exclusively for grade 10th students who wish to complete Grade 11 and 12 on the GIIS Bangalore campus.

Things to know before Applying

The entire structure of the scholarship is divided into two categories:

Category A: Students from CBSE, ICSE, State & other Boards with 94.0% and above marks, or students from IGCSE / GCSE "0" Levels with A* in all 9 subjects can get a *100% waiver on tuition fee (including hostel fee).

Category B: Students from CBSE, ICSE, State & other Boards with marks between 93% and 94%, or students from IGCSE / GCSE "0" Levels with A* in all 8 subjects can will get a *75% waiver on tuition fee (including hostel fee).

The applicants should be in grade 10 at the time of application. This scholarship is not available for students in grades 11 and 12 in the current academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

Grade 10 Students with marks above 85% in pre-board & board examinations can apply for this scholarship. This is a limited scholarship and is offered to only a limited amount of students. Hence, the scholarship is offered to meritorious students on a first-come basis at the Scholarship Committee's discretion.

The applicant must have scored:

∙ 85% in Grade 9 annual examination and 90% in pre-board examination for CBSE/ ICSE/State board applicants

∙ 7A* or above in 9th Standard and 8A* or above in class 10 pre-board examination for IGCSE applicants

∙ The equivalent of 85+ percentages of marks or Grades in pre-board examination for American/Other Boards/Public Board Applicants

The Scholarship is awarded based on the applicant's academic performance in Grade 10 board exams, scholarship online exam and interviews.

Steps of Application

Step 2: Successful candidates will receive the notifications within ten working days.

Step 3: The Scholarship Committee will assess the scholarship application.
