Many tourist loves swimming and if you want to swim then I recommend that you go and visit Laguna, it is only two hours of driving away from Metro Manila, you can use South Luzon Express Way to avoid heavy traffic and make your travel faster. The advantage of choosing Laguna as a place for your vacation is the wide variety of resorts to choose from and there they all offer good services and great ambiance, you can choose from hot springs to nature types that will surely make your vacation worthwhile.

If you are want to experience the soothing effects of hot spring to your body you must go to Calamba Laguna and you will find a lot of hot springs there, since it is near the foot of Mt. Makiling where natural hot springs are abundant. There are also "man made" hot springs there, staying there is cheap and good if you lack some budget. Another reason you might consider staying in Calamba is its near t Mt. Makiling, you can go hiking with your friends and relatives and go to resort after the hiking.

But if you have no interest in hot springs and you love nature, you must visit Lake Caliraya and discover a pristine and peaceful place that is suitable for relaxing your tired body and mind. The resorts are surrounding the Caliraya lake and there are many activities to choose, you can take pictures, jet-skiing and bass fishing. The restaurants offers freshly caught fish and cook it the way you ask them. The rates are moderately high but it is worth the money and it is a must try.
