Science exhibitions at the school level may happen once a year or once in two years.  Assignment help can be a crucial part for many students.

The main aim behind conducting science exhibitions is not just to improve their practical knowledge of the subject but also to improve their self-confidence and speaking or presenting skills.

Science exhibition allows all age groups at the school level.

From junior school to high school every student can participate in the science exhibition and express their skills, and their interesting ideas behind the various experiments or collection of things related to scientific background.

In this article, we will discuss some common scientific ideas that students can try in their next science exhibition along with that the article will also focus on the pros and cons of these exhibitions in brief.

  1. Scientific ideas.

Here’s a list of ideas that students can choose from:

  1. Students can prepare a replica of a volcano erupting using some chemicals

  2. Effect of music on the growth of plants, ice cubes or water, etc

  3. Working model of the working of electricity

  4. Working model of the submarine and it is working

  5. Prepare a model of electric circuit

  6. Prepare a working model of the solar system

  7. Prepare a working model on the working of a balloon, explain the gases in the environment

  8. Prepare a slime from scratch

  9. Students can use eggs to perform various experiments

  10. Explain the working of the rainbow and the reason behind its different colors.

These are the top ten ideas students can use for their science fair or exhibition at the school level.

  1.  Scientific knowledge

It is quite obvious that science exhibition or fair that held at any level is aimed to challenge the scientific knowledge of the students

Students are challenged to look for the most exclusive or creative way to explain the scientific concepts

Participating in the science fair students get to prepare themselves to present their concept or idea.

Science fair uplifts the confidence of the students and gives them an opportunity to showcase their talent and interest in the field of science.

  1. Project ideas.

The best way to look for ideas is the textbook, at the school level. If students want to select a topic from their coursebook, students can read their book. Science is one such subject that is full of practicality and examples. In every science book, there is a number of examples, given on a particular topic.

More than often science books also consist, various experiments, that students can select to perform in the science fair or exhibition. Students can also consult their teachers and elders to select a particular topic.

It has been observed that most of the time students’ experiments get repeated, in order to avoid this situation of repetition, students should select a topic that is not very common, and well aware of.

Students should look for a topic from journals and science books rather than doing a google search on the internet, selecting a topic from the internet, reduces the credibility and uniqueness of the experiment.

  1. Cons

Although anything that is taught in school and colleges accounts for positive rewards mostly, keeping in mind every student that attends the school there are some cons involved also.

One such con is that the students who deal with issues like anxiety find it difficult to participate and present their experiments.

Even if students do participate when it comes to explaining the model to the people or the judge, students get anxious due to which even if the experiment is phenomenal, their chance of winning the competition is reduced because of their lack of self-confidence.

While passing the judgment for the competition judges or teachers should motivate students with talent but lack self-confidence so that next time they feel more confident about presenting their work. Also, in many schools bullying is done behind the back of the teachers.

Students who have been bullied in school also tend to opt-out of the competition in fear that they will become a joke in front of others.

Also, students who may deal with other emotional trauma might get excluded from such competitions because of a lack of self-confidence and lack of self-worth

  1. Preparation

Once the students have selected the topic, students should make a list of things that they will be required to make the model to help in homework

Sometimes most of the students avoid making a list and that is why they have to go again and again to buy things which takes up a lot of their time and efforts, due to which they get exhausted easily.

Once the model is ready, students should always test it first, so that in case there is any issue or problem it can be get addressed prior to the competition or the fair.

Also, it's one thing creating or building a model and another to present it.

Students should make the bulletin points for the presentation and must learn by heart, so at the time of presentation in front of the judges and teachers, students do not fumble and are composed enough to present with full confidence.
