Best sleeping positions for snore-free sleep during the night.

Let’s get through it, Sleep is a big part of our lives — even if you are not having eight hours of sleep, your best sleeping position plays a role in it. If you're getting sleep but you can't stop snoring then also there might be an issue with your sleeping position. Your sleeping position plays a big part in the quality of your sleep.

You should always try and change your sleeping positions frequently because there are chances that fixed sleeping positions might cause you trouble and underlying health conditions. Adapting to a new position is the best way to improve your quality of sleep. 

Different sleeping positions have several benefits. 

If you're going through some other situation or health condition you need to find a way to reap benefits from your sleeping position. Well, you can't do it one night however, it can benefit you if you maintain consistency. 

You just need to train yourself to adopt the new sleeping position and that can help in improving the quality of your sleep gradually. However, if you are not comfortable with it just make sure you're not stressed about it. You can modify your sleeping position according to your requirements so that you could reap the best out of it. 

Every individual is different and you have to do what works best for your body and your sleeping pattern.  

Fetal sleeping position 

There is a reason why the fetal position is popular because it has tons of benefits and it is convenient. It is not only good for sleeping but pain and pregnancy also. It helps in reducing the snoring gradually. 

Unfortunately, if you sleep in a fetal position you might have some disadvantages. Make sure you are sleeping in a relatively comfortable position otherwise your position might cause you unfavorable consequences. Also, if you're facing any issues while sleeping in a fetal position like joint stiffness, muscle tightness, etc are caused by this position. 

Sleeping on your side 

As it turns out that sleeping on your side specifically the left side can help you reduce snoring and other things.  It not only helps in reducing snoring, but it can also help in reducing heartburn and acid reflux. 

A study reviewed the sleeping pattern of ten people who slept on their right side after having a high-fat meal. On the second change the left side. A small study suggested that sleeping on your right side might cause heartburn and acid reflux in the stomach therefore, it is advised to change sides frequently while sleeping.

Sleeping on your side might not be the best way to sleep, said a sleep specialist. It can cause shoulder stiffness and unbearable tightness in your jaw also. Also, research says that sleeping on your side might cause early age wrinkles. 

Putting a pillow between your legs might help you in the better alignment of your lower body. 

Lying on your stomach 

If we would be ranking the sleeping positions, lying on your stomach would be placed at the bottom. It's a good position to sleep whereas there are not many advantages.

Unfortunately, sleeping on the stomach can cause pain in the back and neck. It can add a lot of unwanted strain into your body which might leave you cranky in the morning and you might wake-up sore. Keeping a pillow under your back might help in reducing your pain. 

Summary- Best sleeping positions can reduce the chances of occurrence of other sleeping disorders especially snoring. There are several sleeping positions you can try to improve the quality of your sleep.
