The doorframes also must be cut into size and this is to make sure that the cork tile fit well under them. With cork flooring installation, irregularities on the floor will show up on the cork surface. So the sub floor must be completely smooth and level. But always the cork underlayment and make sure they go through acclimatization process where they are exposed to normal room temperatures.
