Go and see Parnukkale. The best sight is the "Cotton Castle" at Pamukkale which is very popular . The ever-flowing waters of spring , which are so very calcium rich , cascade down the hill; and as it mixes with carbon dioxide in atmosphere, they  turn to chalk. This makes the famous travertines of various  colors and shapes, in terrace-like forms, with overhanging fascinating stalactite shapes and pools .
