These microorganisms enter our body through mere breathing, hard surfaces, and even a wound or cut on the skin. When a mosquito stings on your body, it sucks your blood and releases chemicals inside your body.  A red lump develops on your body indicating that your immune system is active and fighting with invaders like a mosquito. If you don't get a lump it indicates that there is an issue in your immunity system.

If you stop drinking the water required in your body, your immune system can become impaired.  
  • When you sleep, important activities are being happened in your body. Your immune system makes infection-fighting cells while you are sleeping. Several studies show that if you do not get adequate sleep, your body has more chances to get sick. Take adequate sleep to allow your body to fight with microorganisms around you. 
  • Your immune system is directly affected by the stress you take in day-to-day life. When you are stressed, the ability of your immune system to fight-off microorganisms is reduced. There is a stress hormone called corticosteroid which represses the ability of an immune system to work effectively. 

The immune system is key to a healthy lifestyle. Keeps your immune system working properly to so it can be helpful to fight off microorganisms around the body. Sometimes, the doctor asks you for an ANC test, a blood test to understand the functioning of the immune system to know the reason for an unhealthy immune system.
