How I faced Sleep Disorders?

I am a very ambitious individual. This quality led me once in trouble. Two years ago, I started ignoring my normal daily needs like sleep and food as I wanted to achieve a lot within a very short period of time. I worked more than 12 hours a day and due to it; my sleeping time got reduced. Sometimes I happened that I could sleep only four to five hours and there was no fixed time for sleeping.

This habit led to problems related to sleeping. I couldn’t sleep properly and remained awake when I wanted to sleep. Gradually, my sleeping problem got increased and I started to face difficulty in my work. I realized that I should have to find the solutions for my sleeping problems. To get the effective result, I conducted research about methods for sleep disorder treatment over the Internet. My conducted research worked for me and I started to use the methods in my life.

At first, I decided to bring changes in my daily routine. I fixed a time for everything including my sleep and remained stick to it. I went to bed at a fixed time at night (normally 10pm to 6am). Before going to bed, I switched off the light and took out everything from my mind to get relaxed and fall sleep. After few days, I got changes in my sleeping and I felt that I fell asleep soon after going to bed.

In addition to my work routine, I made some changes in my diet. I started to make distance from the intake of alcoholic drink and smoking. I avoided taking alcoholic drink late in the evening and having my dinner at least two hours before my sleep. I also engaged myself in performing simple workouts to be physically active. The combination of all helped me a lot in getting rid of sleeping disorders.
