Parents are going to be sending their kids to summer sport camps again really soon and one of the most challenging considerations is on what kind of snacks to prepare.

The perfect basketball snack should have a lot of simple sugars for energy. It should not be filling because that will cause problems when he has to play immediately after eating.

3. Share

Team sports are all about team-manship and part of that is sharing your food. If it’s a basketball snack then it might as well be really a snack that is in the form of chips that he can simply open up and pass around.
