Visual is the kind that we perceive with our eyes. We saw clouds in the sky - we received information that it might rain soon. We saw a round road sign with crossed red stripes on a blue background, we understood: you cannot make a stop, and even more so.

Sound - we perceive it with our ears. We heard the drops hitting the roof - we realized that it was raining. A conversation with a person on the phone is also an exchange of sound information.

Tactile - we perceive it as "skin". For example, you come to a petting zoo, touch a rabbit there with your fingers and understand how soft and fluffy it is.

Olfactory is the information you get through your nose. Despite the fact that our sense of smell is 48 times weaker than that of a dog, we unmistakably identify gasoline, cabbage soup, alcohol, ammonia by smell.

Taste - we perceive it with taste buds on the tongue. Most of them are on the tip of the tongue, so the tip of the tongue defines absolutely all tastes: sour, bitter, unleavened salty. On the rest of the tongue, these receptors are also present, but unevenly distributed. For example, the root of the tongue may taste bitter, but does not determine the degree of salinity.

The peculiarity of all these types is that they cannot be translated from one another. You cannot tactilely feel whether food is sweet or bitter, you cannot smell vibrations of sounds with your nose or distinguish colors.

By the form of presentation
Text - information that is supplied through the letters of a certain alphabet. This article is written just in text format.

Numeric - transmitted in numbers. The number records information about your birthday, about important historical events.

Graphic is drawings. The most ancient information that has reached our days was transmitted through drawings on the rocks.

Sound - songs and musical compositions are distributed around the world in just this format.

Video information - it contains both sound and visual material.

The peculiarity of this category of information is that one type can often be translated into another. For example, you can describe in text what is shown in a picture, you can name a number in words, you can make pictures for texts in order to perceive them visually.

Of course, there are limits. Sound is very difficult to convey through text, numbers or a picture, its perception is too individual.

Bulk is information and news that is targeted at the masses. The Harry Potter books are easy to read by the general reader, but Tolstoy's novels are worse. Creed, Koku and Timati listen to everything, but some people have never heard Tchaikovsky and Mozart at all.

Elite is just Bach and Beethoven, Tolstoy, Aivazovsky and Picasso. That is, information that can only be perceived by the "elite" strata of society - the most educated, understanding art.

Personal - concerns one person and is not transmitted by them to anyone at all. He needs it for himself: private photos and videos, for example.
