Reach the Apple ID account page of your device, and click on Forgot Apple ID or Password.

Select the option of Reset Your Password, then click on Continue.
Choose the way you want to reset your password-
If you have an iCloud account with a set up of Security Questions, you can select the option of Answer Security Questions and follow the rest of steps to continue.
If you don’t have an iCloud account with a set up of Security Questions then you can choose the option of email. For that select the option of Get an Email. Now, to reset your password, use the email that has been sent on your primary or rescue mail address.
