Microspheres Materials are small spherical materials used in many industries for applications including medicine and chemistry to electronics and nanotechnology. The basic use of a microsphere is that they give an environment where various solvents could be applied without damaging other surface areas. The reason being the properties of the microspheres cause them to become immune to the majority of chemicals.

Some Microspheres Materials include polyimide, sodium silicate, polyimide gel, magnesium oxide, and silicate. All of these ingredients are released through chemical reactions each time a substance is put on the outer lining, but many of these ingredients have different properties. For example, sodium silicate is insoluble in alcohol. It generally does not react with every other substances and thus makes suitable additives for applications involving a chemical reaction. On the other hand, magnesium oxide and polyamine gel are soluble in alcohol.

These materials are frequently used in applications involving the transport of sodium and calcium ions. These ions could be within liquids and can react with other liquids or solid matter on contact. These reactions produce heat and release energy.
