Posted by Airport Transfer Service on March 27th, 2021

Pandemic deprived us from a lot of things that we used to love be it shopping or meeting our pals over a warm cup of coffee but what we missed the most is the will to travel. With the lockdown, the only way to explore places was to tap on your screen and watch beautiful places pass by.

The first few months seemed nothing less than a prison, the dramatic situation all around the world made people think immensely even before stepping their toes outside their house, let alone leaving the country to explore. Various countries decided to lay numerous kinds of restrictions, some of the countries, the most beautiful ones, decided to completely ban tourists for a certain time till the situation gets in control. After so many months, the clock’s needle ticked and got us at a time when things are starting to go back to normal.

Travelling has now started once again and we travel fanatics are the ones who were eagerly waiting for it. Now more than ever, people are going gaga over the places and apparently, all the places in this world have become even more beautiful surprisingly.

Exploring places that haven’t been explored before, after the thorough research in the lockdown about the rarest and the most magnificent places has left us more intrigued than ever. Travelling is a fun but a tedious process, planning is the most crucial thing that one must do.

So this blog is written for all our fellow travellers who many to keep the risk of contracting the COVID virus. Make sure to run through the entire blog and check out our tips and measures for flights, hotels, private transfers and any activities related to exploring and have a wonderful time, each and everyone of us deserve a little get away.

Although we know that you are having adrenaline rush in the back of your throat and happiness dangling in the air, yet there are some things that every potential traveller should consider before thinking about planning a visit to any other place. A few questions that you must put in front of yourself before booking for the tickets are-

1. What is the rate of COVID-19 spread in the area around you?

The more cases that you have for the COVID-19 virus, the lesser you should consider leaving the place at least rich TV away. Stay put for a while, let the cases slow down by a bit, use that time in planning an extraordinary trip and then book the flight, wear your expedition shoes.

2. Are you at a higher risk of catching the infection?

We’ve often heard people talking about building our immune system to keep the virus at bay. If you think you have slow immune, you just need to follow the tips while you’re squandering around exploring the historical heritage and cultural beauty of any city.

3. Are you visiting someone who can get infected easily?

At the end of the day, it’s not about your resistance, it’s about your loved ones, your old pals or little ones might not have as much resistance as you have and will end up catching the virus from you, taking way more time than you to heal. Now we don’t mean to settle your excitement level for travelling but we just advise you to maintain some distance from old pals and little ones.

Also, make sure to get a COVID test from the nearest centre before the flight and after the flight. According to the U.S Centres for disease control and prevention, getting tested one to three days before taking a trip would make sure to keep you and everyone you’re going to be in contact with safe.

Now that you’re sure about having gone through all the points mentioned above and feel the will to travel, pack your bags and book that flight.

Crank Your Trip Up A Notch By Following These Tips During Pandemic

1.Make sure to check your government travel advisory

Your government may have certain bounds and rules to follow, the rules aren’t meant for one but every individual who is deciding to travel. Make sure to go through them and plan your trip accordingly

2. Only book hotels and choose operators who are following the proper COVID 19 guidelines set by the government.

It’s of no surprise that tourism is vital to the economies of numerous countries, the accommodations all around the world are warmly welcoming the tourists again but not at the risk of peeking up their local cases and ending up infecting the entire town. Which is why many accommodations all around the world are following the safe travel programme launched by the World Travel and Tourism Council.

The organisations, related to hospitality, aviation and transfers can be worthy of the stamp once they have successfully followed every rule set by the council. Make sure to call in and check the hygiene and safety of your accommodations. Adventure Travel and Trade Association has laid a similar protocol which lays a set of guidelines for activities such as wildlife safari, culinary expedition, rafting, trekking, cycling, skiing, snowboarding and going on a cultural group tour. Any operator who is respecting the guidelines of the council is deemed to be worthy of a batch from the council and can be trusted for a safe and fun trip.

3. Search for countries where the number of cases affected by COVID-19 is low.

Some countries have cases more than others, Europe is full of places that can make your jaw-drop, all it takes is a little bit surfing through the internet and Voila! Your dream place is waiting for you.

Lower cases will give you the liberty to explore the city without living under the shadow of danger. You can even opt to do any activity that you like.

4. Make sure to carry a mask and a sanitiser with you, always.

The most basic rules are the most crucial ones, masks are the part of your outfit and it should be. A thin cotton mask will prevent sensitive areas such as the nose and mouth which has the power of direct contamination if not taken proper care of. It’s not cool to leave without your masks even while going for grabbing a packet of chips from the street. A superhero never leaves without having his proper attire on.

Sanitisers are the elixir, only to be applied at your palms to kill all the deadly viruses which are planning to take your precious life away. Make sure to carry an extra set of mask and sanitiser in case of any mishap.

5. Stay far to stay close.

Make sure to maintain a distance of at least 3-6 feet while travelling. If you want to explore around without getting sick, refrain from making any sort of contact at a public place. Even if you do, make sure to keep sanitising yourself to wipe off any virus that settles on your skin.

6. Stay far from anyone who seems sick

Read the symptoms, anyone who sneezes, coughs or seems unwell must not come in direct contact with you. If the situation is severe and a need for help calls in, make sure to dial for help and call the team for a proper check-up. Do not leave the person alone but do not become the carrier of the virus as well. Acting practical and sensible will help you a lot while making a trip.

7. Don’t touch your eyes, mouth and nose

Your eyes, nose and mouth are a direct source of carrying the virus and must be layered at all cost. After wandering through the streets, make sure to wash your hands before touching the above-mentioned areas. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth in public.

8. Always cover your coughs and sneezes

Taught since we were a little kid, who knew it’d be a lifesaver now, more than ever. Your coughs and sneezes are much more than an indicator of cold and you being under the weather. Noted to be two of the most common symptoms of COVID-19 virus, coughs and sneezes are the ultimate messenger and carrier of the deadly virus. Always keep a sack of tissue in your handbag, use them to cover your coughs and sneezes and throw them properly into a dustbin later. Always sanitise your hands later. If the need is, take proper rest and quarantine for a little bit. Call for help if you’re at an unknown place.

9. Wash the germs, wash your hands

Unknowingly or knowingly, you tend to touch too many unwanted surfaces in a day. Washing your hands every time you come home is called good hygiene, especially at a time like this. Make sure to wash your hands at least for 20 seconds every time you come home from your mini-tour.

10. Limit the contact with surfaces in public places. And after all, our parents were right about limiting the contacts since we were a little kid. Avoid touching areas that can easily be refrained, while keeping your hands in the support of the escalator to pressing the lift buttons, do not keep your hand here and there.

Make sure to sanitise properly while roaming around in an absolutely magical place, make your travelling fun by following these basic rules that will allow you to travel wherever you want free from the danger of COVID-19.
