While its origin is contested, it has become a local Puerto Rican classic. I have tried to make mojitos from scratch a few times, with varying results. Finally, I think I have come up with a winner of a recipe that is amazingly easy. Public transportation on the island is always a hot topic among travelers. Puerto Rico's transportation system within the San Juan metro area is pretty good. Plan your trip to the peak with weather in mind - on a clear day, the views are amazing!
