On Friday night, the Bears revealed their new classic jerseys that were made to celebrate the NFL’s 100th anniversary. The jerseys themselves resemble the ones worn by the franchise in 1936.

Currently, Chicago plans to wear these jerseys against the Minnesota Vikings on September 29th and against the Dallas Cowboys on December 5th. Most people saw a leak of these jerseys on social media earlier this week.

The Bears’ chairman, George H. McCaskey said that these jerseys were worn for one season by Bronko Nagurski and company in the 1936 season. The team went 9-3 that year and the Bears are hoping for similar success in these threads.

The helmet for these uniforms looks like the ones that the University of Michigan wears but they are orange instead of yellow. In addition, the jersey will sport a patch on it that shows the 100th anniversary of the NFL.

Fans are always invested in what jerseys and uniforms their team will wear week in and week out. There is always going to be people who are for and people who aren’t for every uniform combination. Undoubtedly, there will be mixed reviews on the Bears new classic jerseys.

These jerseys can now be purchased on any major sports merchandise site. Nonetheless, there will be tons of fans wearing these jerseys for the duration of the 2019 season.
