Dayanand Sagar college of Engineering is one of the best and reputed colleges of engineering in Bangalore. This college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt of India and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University.
Dayanand Sagar College offers 16 undergraduate courses and 17 postgraduate engineering courses. In addition, this institution also has 21 research centers.It offers basic courses of civil, mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering. Dayanand Sagar college of engineering admission is through management, NRI and foreign quota. The admissions for the engineering courses are open to all who have passed the 10+ 2 from the respective board. Dayanand Sagar College of engineering admission is done under COMEDK or VTU. Candidates who have passed the second year Pre-University or XII standard or equivalent examination recognized by the University are eligible for engineering courses.
The candidate should secure a minimum score of forty five percent (45%) marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics. For candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC candidates from Karnataka a minimum of forty percent (40%) is required. For Admission to Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Candidates has to appear in COMEDK or KCET Entrance Exam, or other Entrance Exam like JEE Main for Management Quota Direct Admission. For admission it is necessary for the candidates to score well in these exams.
