Right off, Marshall Realty LLC is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau.

But the reader should note that businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation. There are a number of businesses which are not accredited because they did not seek accreditation from this organization.

In order to be accredited by the Better Business Bureau, a company must apply for accreditation. This organization determines if the business seeking accreditation is able to meet its standards.

These standards include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. Businesses accredited by the BBB must pay a fee for accreditation review and monitoring and for the support of BBB services to the public.

Nevertheless, BBB records show no major complaints and issues lodged against Marshall Realty over the years it has been providing real estate services to its customers.

In the last 12 months, there were zero complaints, and in the last three years there were only 2 complaints. The level of these two complaints does not have the quality that can destroy the professional and reputable image of this company.

For example, there is just one issue with regards to advertising and sales, and another issue against product/service. Out of all the thousands of buyers and sellers that Marshall Realty has served, only two complaints on non-consequential issue were lodged against the company. These two complaints are really just two drops in an ocean of customers, which makes them suspect.

The actual complaint goes like this:

“Received a postcard saying my home was just listed. I called to clarify. The young man answering said it was another unit that was actually listed. So I asked for the info on the listing and it was already "pending". I believe this is not only misleading but bait and switch tactics. Remove my unit from ad and my information from mailing list.”

Marshall promptly answered the complaint with this statement:

“We deeply apologize for any confusion stemming from the "Just Listed" postcard that we sent to the community at (location of house). In no way did we mean to advertise that your unit was for sale. The home listed is one of your neighbor's house, that is the exact model and bedroom configuration.”

“Again, we are very sorry for the confusion.”

So, this complaint is actually a non-issue after all.
