Why OUAC Programs are So Necessary

If you are about to finish your high school education and you are ready to receive your OSSD, your next step is to seek OUAC guidance and prepare to sign up for the Ontario University Applications Centre. It is a centralized processing centre handling applications for undergraduate programs in any university in the province. To get started, you will have to make an account on OUAC’s official website (ouac.on.ca), and meet all the necessary requirements to get your application approved.

However, not all students in the final high school year may be ready for application. Some may lack requirements because they may not be eligible to apply to any Canadian college or university, even if they have completed grade 12 in their country. For this reason, some schools offer OUAC programs, which are good for one year. Those are university preparation programs, which help you to complete the necessary prerequisites of the college or university you want to apply in.

It’s your stepping stone to college admissions

An OUAC program in Canada is absolutely important, especially if you need some help with your application. If you are an international student or you have just moved to Ontario to complete your high school in any local educational institution, you may want to look into a university pathway program that is being offered by a reputable school.

Consider a program that is designed specifically for international students and make sure that it is fast, focused, and flexible, with reliable OUAC guidance to back you up and ensure your success for your college application, no matter which university you wish to enter. After completing OUAC programs, students can be guaranteed admission to a program in their university of choice. Programs include accounting, architecture, engineering, computer science, social sciences, financial studies, and much more.

Choosing the right program and school

Look for a respected school with a good university preparation program for OUAC in Canada. Some schools have only four student intakes per year to provide a more personalized and one-on-one approach, and students are allowed to start at their own convenience. Academic guidance counselors are available to help students create their own study plans.
