Lima has now become a much-visited city. This is the smog covered capital of Peru and most parts of this ancient city don a very monochromatic hue. The Old World Charm

That is what lends the city an old world charm, but what makes it even  more  interesting  is that this  charm is balanced out by its modernistic look in many districts. Today, the government is pouring in a lot of money into regeneration and infrastructure and you will also find a number of conservation projects being conducted at the historic center which is UNESCO-listed.
