Lima has now become a much-visited city. This is the smog covered capital of Peru and most parts of this ancient city don a very monochromatic hue. In fact, many people who haven’t visited it and some who have, will say that it’s a very plain and ‘boring city; and very frankly- at first sight that is how it seems. No matter what people have to say about Lima, it is a fascinating place that has a lot to offer travelers and tourists. The place exudes a multicultural vibe and you will find some of the Americas’ best cuisine here and the architecture of historic buildings dates back five centuries.

The Old World Charm

That is what lends the city an old world charm, but what makes it even  more  interesting  is that this  charm is balanced out by its modernistic look in many districts. Today, the government is pouring in a lot of money into regeneration and infrastructure and you will also find a number of conservation projects being conducted at the historic center which is UNESCO-listed. When you look at it closely, you will notice the distinct glamour that the city has and you will also find the Best Hotel in Lima Peru in the central district.

Stay at the Best Hotel in Lima

Another  place  of interest  is the Museo Larco. This museum is housed  in the Pueblo Libre district, which is 20 minutes from the city’s airport.  The impressive 44,000-piece collection it holds originated from the Chimu & Moche people. Apart  from these ancient treasures, you will also find colonial mansions with ornate balconies and amazing architectural elements here. When you  get tired at the end of  your sightseeing  day, the one thing  you want  to do is  sink into a comforting bed at the Best Hotel in Lima Peru.
