Bayside welcomes Marty Godwin as the Racquet Sports Pro. Marty brings with him valuable experience during his 30 plus year career as a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional.

Marty relocated to the east coast after a celebrated career in Los Angeles where Marty worked at the world famous Riviera Country Club in the Pacific Palisades. At Riviera , Marty was the first pro to offer adult clinics and helped build the junior program and summer camps! Marty’s client list includes Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, Bruce and Patti Springsteen, Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, Rob and Michele Reiner, Norman Lear , Billy and Janice Crystal, Randy and Gretchen Newman and many more of Hollywood’s Elite!

Marty is nationally known for his focus on families, his emphasis on fundamentals and fun! In addition, Marty has won USTA Pro of the Year Awards in 2008 and 2015 and Tournament Director of the Year in 2009. Marty played at Wake Forest University , graduated with Deans List Honors with a B.A. degree in Communication. Marty lives in Rehoboth Beach with his two great kids Maile and Miles ages 11 and 12!

Pricing

Pricing for private lessons is /per hour and each additional student.

Pricing for adult clinics, cardio tennis, junior clinics is each student.

All Round Robins, Friday Night Margarita Tennis Round Robin Happy Hours are at no charge.

Bear Trap Dunes Reciprocity

Bayside homeowners and sports club members are able to attend clinics, round robins, and speical events at Bear Trap Dunes! Make new tennis friends on the court and experience another fantastic Freeman property at the beach in Delaware! The tennis schedule with Marty will rotate between the two properties. Programming will be offered in the mornings and afternoons at both properties with the exception of Wednesday and Thursday afternoons which are left open for lesson requests. Afternoon tennis opportunities give players the chance to sleep in, play golf, hit the beach or for individuals arriving after mornings clinics are over!
