This weekend an interesting interview took place where Ion Hazzikostas, Lead Game Designer, answered some of the community questions especially about the upcoming 6.2 and 6.2.x patches.

The 6.2.x patch is needed to fix various bugs that can appear wile flying in Draenor.
We might see the same model for enabling the Draenor flying in other future contexts.
Originally they didn’t want to have reputations in Draenor at all. No one is happy with them though.
Daily quests, especially the Crystals ones, are considered a failure.
The 6.2 will take us out of our Garrison.
When it comes to future expansions, the current garrison and model will stay in Draenor.
Mythic dungeons is there to revive dungeons in Draenor, since they became obsolete pretty faster after the launch of WoD.
Timewalking is something they wanted to do for a long time.
Why nerf demo locks: “Because we’d rather you didn’t play demonology.” – I guess this was an unfortunate statement – Apparently they consider this spec to be too complicated and way to many players switching to it.
They plan to overhaul the Demo Lock spec, but not for 6.2.
“If you have one healer priest in a raid group, that priest should be Disc.”
Imperator Mar’gok mythic fight is considered to be too long.
