But before you start any tile installation, you must be aware of the details of the material you can choose. Mastic is latex or solvent-based adhesive. If the same gets, the water re-emulsifies the adhesive base, which is not good to keep your tiles on the wall. It is stickier than the thin-set mortar. Thinset mortar can be used for shower walls and any floor. You can get the same in bags. It needs mixing with water. It is also called mud. It is a combination of sand, portland cement, lime, and many other materials too. It is known to be a preferred setting material for tiles. You need to mix the same properly as per the directions to make it stable and uncompromised. After you mix water, leave it to set for some time so that the chemicals start to interact and become workable. Then, remix before using.

Epoxy is a chemical-based glue. It is not so user-friendly. It is mixed with other materials to make a stiff and thick putty-like substance. Many exterior applications use it like swimming pools and glass tiles.

Thinset mortar seems to be the best of all.
