Aer Lingus is an Irish airline founded in 1936 that is now a member of IAG (International Airlines Group), which also includes British Airways and Iberia.

It is based in Dublin and has a loyalty program called AerClub. It uses Avios points and has four levels: Green, Silver, Platinum and Concierge. Aer Lingus is an airline halfway between a traditional airline and a low-cost carrier, with food and beverages only offered on its long-haul flights.

Aer Lingus flights are part of an interline agreement with jetBlue Airways, Etihad Regional and United Airlines in order to facilitate connections between flights with stops, when these include different airlines. Aer Lingus also has a codeshare agreement with members of the Oneworld, StarAlliance and Skyteam alliances such as Air Canada and Alaskan Airlines. In 2015, Aer Lingus became the official company of the Irish rugby team and, for the occasion, created a special livery in the team's colors called "Green Spirit".
