The team leader accepted this and decided to have 3 member team compete for the trials. One senior volleyball player joined their team. They need to win the game or else Kageyama will not be a setter.

The condition gives Kageyama motivation to win since he believed that being a setter is the one that controls that game. As a spiker, Hinata may have disagreed with Kageyama, but he is eager to win the game to for them to be a part of the team, so naturally, he also tries his best to work with Kageyama.
