5 Limiting Beliefs That Will Make You Poor Forever

Posted by zlcvancouver on April 22nd, 2021

Certain limiting beliefs prevent you from reaching your financial goals. We have been conditioned to believe in so many things when it comes to our finances. Here are just some of the limiting beliefs that we have been hardwired to think:

  1. I can’t save money because my income is not enough

How much you earn from your desk job is equal to your wealth. This is what we have grown up believing. We think that because someone has a menial job means he doesn’t have the potential to earn money anymore.

But this isn’t true at all. Anyone has a chance to grow their wealth and become financially stable. It’s not how much you are earning but how much you are saving.  You might be able to set aside some money for investments if you only prioritize it.

  1. Investing is only for rich people

When we think of investors, the first thing that comes to our minds is wealthy people. But many of the rich people out there came from nothing. They weren’t born with a hefty bank account. Many grew their wealth after making investments.

It’s not an overnight process. The fruits of your investment might not show right now but with consistency, you can get the results you are looking for.

  1. I don’t have time to improve myself

The more you learn, the higher your income will be. If you don’t take the time to improve your knowledge and skills, you will be stuck in the same income bracket forever. Learning doesn’t have to take so much of your time. You can try reading books, checking out informative videos, or listening to podcasts for even 15 minutes a day. You can do this while stuck in traffic or doing the dishes.

  1. Grow up and get a job

Nobody has grown rich by doing a desk job. So, if you think getting a job will make you successful, think again. There are many ways to grow your wealth. You would want to have multiple streams of income and become a multipotentialite to increase your chances of earning money.

  1. I do not have an expensive education, therefore, I can’t get paid higher

Not everyone can go to expensive schools and that’s not your fault. But this doesn’t mean that you don’t deserve to be paid higher.

Getting rid of your limiting beliefs is the first step towards achieving real success. You can also consult a financial planner in Vancouver BC to get started in arranging your finances.
