Transfer Embroidery Design from Computer to Machine

Brother SE400 Machine

Brother SE400 embroidery machine is straightforward to use for beginners and an affordable choice for you if you have a lower budget. Transferring the design from the computer to the machine in Brother SE400 is very easy to understand.

Method

  • First of all, make a folder on your computer to save all your embroidery designs and save your time to find them.

  • Connect the USB stick to your computer. Or connect the USB cable from your computer to the machine. Turn off your machine when you are connecting the data cord to the machine.

  • Turn on your machine; after opening it shows you the “contents” if it doesn’t show, then click on your file explorer, then go to an external drive and then double click on it.

  • Open the folder of designs and select the design that you want to transfer.

  • Copy your design and paste it in the machine’s window or drag the design and drop it in the machine’s window.

  • Select the icon of embroidery hoop on your machine’s screen; it will open your embroidery menu.

  • In embroidery menu select the icon of the computer with a data cord symbol.

  • Select the design you want to embroider and click the upload button to upload it into the machine. A window will ask you first thread colour; you can now start embroidery by pressing the start button.

Method

  • Go to the baby lock web page and search for free designs, select the design you like then download it to your computer.

  • Insert the USB stick in your computer, and then open the folder where you saved the design, then right-click on the design and send it to removable USB.

  • Ensure that the design has saved in USB, then pull your USB from the computer and insert it in your embroidery machine.

  • Go to your embroidery touch screen and touch to USB icon, select your design, check all settings, then touch on the set button to do embroidery.

Horizon Memory Craft 12000

Horizon memory craft 12000 gives you a good experiment of embroidery. If you want to get the best embroidery machine, then it's a great choice for you. The method for Memory Craft 12000 is different from other machines.

Method

  • Insert the flash media into your computer, then go to my computer and find your design. Right-click to the design, then click copy.

  • Go to the USB and double click on it; it will show the EMB folder; double click on it, it will show you the EMBF folder; now open this folder and paste your design.

  • Remove the flash media, insert it in the embroidery machine, touch to open the embroidery mode key, touch to open USB memory, then open the EMBF folder and choose your design to embroider.
