And no need to say that cost cutting is the best way to maximize your profit. That's why FSBO is getting popularity specially in USA. In FSBO sales, the whole process ofselling home is done by the landlord, he does not take the services of brokers or agents.

Definitely there is benefit of earning higher profit but it also has some drawbacks, which can make a seller reluctant of selling house without the help of agents.

• There are too many people to meet for the discussion of home for sale in USA. Buying home is really a big investment so it should be understand that these kind of proposal can not be finalized in one meeting.

• It is very time consuming, as you have to do whole the process alone. Other then meeting with clients you have to fulfill all the legal requirements alone. And in the absence of knowledge of paper works and legal process make it more hectic that some times you want to give up.

• What will you do to find potential client? On one side you want to save money by not hiring broker and on the same time you pay for advertisement on home listings websites, MLS and news paper for searching of potential client. Is it good idea?

• Many a time when you don't find the right purchaser on time, you get ready to compromise with the price of home and you give unwanted discount.

Nobody can compel you to take help of agent or broker, it's your home and final decision will be yours, but it is advisable to take help of agent if you do not have proper knowledge of sales process, and different paper works, you can not find potential clients, you have lack of time. And on the other hand if you hire broker or agent, they can assist in all the above works and may be possible they could garner more profit for you.
