France is Special for the Al Maya Groupís Distribution and Retail Business

Sometime earlier, the Group hosted dignitaries from France including Consul General, Consulate General of France, Dubai, H.E Mrs. Raja Rabia and the economic delegates including Deputy Consul General, Mrs Marie-Laure Charrier, Managing Director Middle East Area of Business France, Frederic Szabo and Deputy Area Manager-Middle East, Turkey & Central Asia, French Public Investment Bank, Ms Ines Taki. Group Director at Al Maya Group, Dubai, Kamal Vachani, received the delegation while hosting a discussion on strategic business relationships with companies in France via the Al Maya Group.

He also informed the French Consul General regarding the huge number of products from France that are imported and distributed by the Al Maya Group and sold at Al Maya Supermarkets as well. The Group imports a sizable quantity of FMCG items from the country as per Kamal Vachani. The Consul General was appreciative of the role played by the Group in the promotion of food items from France in the UAE. The Group has 50+ supermarkets in the region along with other businesses like distribution of FMCG products. The Group has introduced more than 50 of the world’s top food brands to the region over the last few years while having more than 1 million sq. ft. in warehousing space courtesy of Al Maya Distribution and 100+ delivery vehicles.
