NeNe Leakes life after leaving "Real Housewives of Atlanta" just keeps getting better and better.

The reality star recently booked a new gig as host of E!'s "Fashion Police" MTV Video Music Awards special.

For the longest it was rumored that NeNe was going to become a host on the infamous fashion show. Although the network decided to replace the late Joan Rivers with comedian Kathy Griffin, it appears that NeNe will finally get another shot at hosting the "Fashion Police" VMAS recap with River's daughter Melissa Rivers.

According to HipHollywood, NeNe announced her new job with a post on her personal blog site titled, "Making Joan Proud."

"I'm honored to sit next to @mel_rivers on Monday for #FashionPolice as she takes her mom seat for the very first time. Joan gave me some great career advice one day while I was there co-hosting and I have never forgotten her words! Tune in MONDAY to E and catch us readdddd these girls fashions hunni from the VMA's red carpet #lifeofnene #makingjoanproud #VMAS #FP #E," she wrote.

This won't be NeNe's first time sitting in a hosts chair on "Fashion Police."

The 47-year-old has appeared on the show several times alongside Joan and fellow hostsGiuliana Rancic, George Kotsiopoulos and Kelly Osbourne since it first debuted on E! back in 2010.

Although it's still unclear if NeNe's upcoming appearance on "Fashion Police" will lead to a full time role, there's certainly a few vacancies left to fill on the series now that Kelly and Kathy have both stepped down from their positions on the show.
