The first thing you will need is to have a Google Account. Go to Google.com and search for "analytics." 1. Go through the first link "Google Analytics | Official Website" 2. In the upper right you will find a button that says "Access Analytics" a. If you have a merchant account: click that button and sign in. b. If you do not have an account: just underneath that button there is a text link which reads "Sign Up Now." Click that link and check out register. Then go back to the "Access Analytics" button on the Google Analytics home page and click that button to enter. 3. Google will then provide you with a prompt that says "Add New Account" Depending on whether or not you have already started to set up analytics before, this button may either be right in the center of the screen as a prompt or in the upper right hand corner at the top of a gray and white table. 4. A new page will then pop up that says "SUBSCRIBE." 5. You will then see a page titled "Analytics: New Account Signup" - Complete all information: a. read more 's URL - Your websites address b. Account Name - Anything you want - Either use the site address or simplify it. c. Time zone country or territory: d. Time Zone: e. Click "Continue" 6. Page 2 of "Analytics: New Account Signup" asks for your contact information: a. Last Name b. First Name c. Country or Territory 7. Page 3 of "Analytics: New Account Signup" displays the Terms of Service for you to read and consent to. Check the box that says "Yes, I agree to the above terms and conditions" and then click the button on underneath left that says "Create New Account." 8.
