Top Five Tips that can Help Photographers Take Stunning Pictures!

Tip 1: Law of Minimum

Simple, the better! Usually photographers try to capture too much in a single frame which ends up messing it to a considerable extent. Make sure that the interest of your viewer is not lost when he is trying to decipher your picture. Too many elements might let him focus on lesser significant things in a photograph. For this you should observe the four corners of your picture frame and then see where the main subject fits with respect to it. Beginners end up concentrating too much on the centre, forgetting other elements. A hybrid camera will help them sort out the composition much better.

Tip 2: Forget the auto mode of your camera

A lot of photographers have the illusion that auto mode of their cameras will help them click stable pictures, but in reality they could end up clicking pictures which are inconsistent and improperly composed. A digital SLR can click stunning pictures if you know how to use the manual mode like a pro. Parameters like shutter speed, ISO and size of the aperture are important to understand before clicking that perfect picture.

Tip 3: Go handy with your camera

What is photography if not catching the perfect moment at the perfect time? Photographers usually carry their cameras and lenses packed in bags and end up missing a lot of magical moments. By the time they take out the camera, the moment is lost. Wear it like you wear denims and sunglasses! Digital compact cameras are easy to handle and can be your perfect companion while you are on the move.

Tip 4: Take care of the lighting

What differentiates a good photographer from a great one is not an expensive DSLR or a higher version of a hybrid camera, but an understanding of lighting. Photographers should do some research about the direction of light, nature of light, colour temperature and other factors before starting the photo session. According to experts, images taken after two hours of sunrise and before two hours of sunset give the best lighting for clicking pictures outdoors.

Tip 5: Focus properly

A number of digital SLR andmirrorless cameras come with autofocus features but that doesn’t translate to clicking absolutely in-focus pictures. Novice photographers who are trying their hands on becoming professional often end up clicking out of focus photographs because they depend too much on technology. They should select AF points on the frame where the main subject is located. For capturing human figures, select the focus point on the eye which is nearer to the camera lens.
