Mind and Body!

Thousands of years back the Ancient Greeks understood some great benefits of exercising both their minds and bodies! Unfortunately, today some people are picking one on the other. Some schools have cut back on gym classes and/or recess amount of time in order to get more academic seat time. Plus some students are concentrating their efforts on sports at the expense of their studies. The mind and body are like a two-lane road. Traveling on only one while ignoring another might leave you stranded somewhere far away without any way of getting back home. Concentrating on only one, not only neglects the other, but also causes the one you're focusing on to receive a great deal of inefficient attention! In order for either side to find the most productive attention one has to combine both and utilize the mind and body link together. Is it possible to feel what I'm saying yet? just my mind Good! Believe it or not the mind will help out in virtually any physical endeavor if you give it an opportunity to work its genius, and likewise the body can help out in any intellectual endeavor aswell if given the opportunity to perform. If you athletes understand how to train your brain you'll get that mental edge that will give you a leg through to your competition in sports. And when you intellectuals discover how to use your body to place yourselves in the "zone," your mind will undoubtedly be sharper and quicker than you've ever previously experienced. Train your brain and feel the body move, and you're sure to become a smarter, faster, and better you. Just look at Alexander the fantastic, who loved to physically dominate and destroy his competition around he loved to read an excellent book and study under Aristotle. Now teens, go learn, lead, and lay the way to a better world for all of us. Remember, the Ancient Greeks knew the benefits of the mind and body link thousands of years ago! Be balanced. Be successful. Be happy. And once again, thanks in advance for all that you do, and all that you will do...
