It is important to know it even when the Competency Demonstration Report for migration skills assessment with the Engineers Australia has been completed, as it might be that you overlooked some important issues on the way.

WHY CDR?
The purpose of the Competency Demonstration Report (or a CDR) is to show how you have applied your engineering knowledge and skills, and that such application meets the competency standards of the relevant occupational category in Australia.
HOW TO PREPARE A CDR?
To prepare your CDR you need to take the following steps:
Step 1. Complete Application Form
Step 2. Assemble certified copies of academic testamur(s) and associated academic transcript(s)
Step 3. Prepare Curriculum Vitae
Step 4. Identify Continuing Professional Development
Step 5. Write three Career Episodes
Step 6. Prepare a Summary Statement of evidence for the competency elements
Step 7. Instruct IELTS Test Entre to post an original TRF to EA
Step 8. Submit all specified documentation to Engineers Australia for assessment
