Cricket is not merely a religion but an economy in itself in India.

In 2019-2020, BCCI's yearly income was estimated to be over INR 3,730 crore (US5 million), such as INR 2,500 crore (US5 million) in the IPL and INR 950 crore (US9 million) from Deadly cricket series along with different countries.
